200st Blog Post
[sarcasm] Yay! 200 posts. Maybe I should put this on my resume.[/sarcasm]
Random things of the day:
- No more James Squire Amber Ale on tap at uni bar, or Tooheys Old – they have Guinuess, but that isn’t an everyday beer. The fridges were all frosty, so I don’t know what they have bottled…. but the amount they charged for a plastic cup (a further outrage – back in my day we had proper schooner glasses) of beer makes me think I’ll be buying at the local bottleshop.
- Seems that there is a new (yet to be opened) food outlet at uni that has Turkish Bread and Falafel – 2 of my favoritest lunch ingredients. Or at least that was what I could see under the roller door.
- Look out behind you! You never know who might be walking past your stall. They may even be armed and mentally imbalanced….
- “such ancestry would merely tell us which cannibals we are descended from… because every branch of the human race, without any exception, has practiced cannibalism in the course of its history” – Robert A Heinlein, Stranger in a Strange Land. Public transport gives me time to read books, which is good, and avoid the hypothermia/death I would have gotten if I’d ridden today, which would have been bad.
