The Bees – a poem

Uncategorized — frozensummers on April 16, 2007 at 7:08 am

The bees are dying,
The hive is empty.

Pollen, it languishes,
on unconsumated stamen.

The flowers are dying,
The garden is empty.

Herbivores, ravenous,
lacking their shrubbery.

The animals are dying,
The field is empty.

Bazaar, futile search,
despair from the hive.

The sapiens are dying,
The cupboard is bare.

  2. Unfortunately its based on real events, the bees are disappearing upto 70% in the US, and 60% in europe.

Einstein said that if all the bees disappeared we humans would have 4 years until extinction.
