Weeding
So, my sister is getting married at some point (hence she moved out and I now have a proper bed). Anyway, something to do with a change in ownership at the planned venue has meant that there has been some plan changing (not for me obviously, I’m sure I can turn up and be completely bored anywhere). So, she was here and made a comment about me getting married, and I laughed as usual.
Well, not exactly as usual, her follow up comment about how it might actually happen shows she isn’t a reader of this blog, is anybody? maybe no one does :-( Anyway, I doubt church will be where I’d “find someone” and…. obviously there is that other thing that also made it funny.
So, between the other thing and my sister the whole weeding and relationships thing has been on my mind. Rather than actually doing serious pondering and/or writing something thought provoking I’ll just leave you with this video. Because slash is badass….
Don’t you have one of those counter things that tells you how many views your blog has had?
No. That is why chaotimusic.com is hosted on my own server using wordpress – I get much better stats (and any is better than none).
But obviously you are still reading….
I still read it, Dan. You actually have a dedicated section in Thunderbird, which I use and love for emails and RSS, and it contains 4 feeds: Your main Chaotimusic feed, the comments feed for Chaotimusic, your Twitter feed, and the feed from the posts to this blog. The only thing it is lacking is a single feed for all the comments to this blog.
Also, limh (I’m too tired to lol atm), the letters for verification I have to type in to post this are “hgckr”, a butchering of half of my usual online moniker, g01d_HaCkEr. I wonder if it *knows*…
Regarding news of purchases, I went spend happy yesterday and bought Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney: Justice for All for the DS yesterday, cos I enjoyed the original game. Also bought Jam Sessions, which is a virtual guitar strumming “game” for DS, which is very fun. So I was “playing” “Always Look on the Bright Side of Life” at uni yesterday in between slaving away in Visual C++. Much fun. To round out my expenditures, I got HIM’s latest album, since I like their music, and the latest album got good reviews. Yet to listen to it, but I have the house to myself so that is what today is for.
Catch ya later!
Bah. Video games…. so not interesting atm. In fact I haven’t read anything review yet where the reviewer isn’t completely neutral on the new halo.
Poke me when some one makes an interesting and/or innovative game.
And games that pretend to do something that I can actually do quite well (like music, or cooking) seem stupid to me. I prefer to play a real guitar than a fake plastic one.
